Our story
It began with a question: how good are fakes really?
Julia, our founder, wanted to know exactly. On trips to China, Vietnam and Turkey, she looked at how counterfeits are made and even visited factories where copies are produced in sometimes frighteningly good quality.
What she saw there stayed with her: a sophisticated grey market full of black sheep who deceive with ever more refined methods. And buyers who pay a great deal of money for something that is not genuine.
That is how Julery came about, and with it Echtheitscheck.de: a place in Düsseldorf where luxury is honestly authenticated, fairly bought and responsibly passed on.

Today we authenticate handbags, sneakers, jewellery and other luxury items on site and digitally, we buy your bag and other pieces, and we sell authenticated designer items. Our expertise is trusted not only by private customers, but also by:
